NanoSurface Partners with MatTek for New USA Distribution Partnership

Seattle, WA and Ashland, MA – January 15, 2019

NanoSurface Biomedical, Inc., the market-leading manufacturer of nanopatterned cultureware for biomimetic in-vitro cell culture, today announced an exciting new partnership with MatTek Corporation as their newest USA distribution partner of NanoSurface Cultureware

MatTek Corporation is one of the most recognizable names in the production of glass bottom dishes for microscopy and human cell-based in-vitro models. “Our mission at MatTek is to provide human-relevant technology for the life sciences,” says Alex Armento, President of MatTek. “NanoSurface Biomedical provides a technology that fits that mission and has a real usefulness for our customers and their research, so it was a natural fit to add NanoSurface Biomedical products to our existing catalog for the convenience of our customers.”

NanoSurface Cultureware features NanoSurface nanopatterned topography coated onto high-quality glass-bottom dishes and plates. The nanopatterned substrate surface resembles the native extracellular matrix, which induces cellular and tissue-level to align properly and promotes the structural and functional development of a myriad of cell types, including cardiomyocytes, neuronal cells, epithelial cells, and many more.

“We are excited to partner with MatTek, a recognized leader in the life sciences industry,” says Elliot Fisher, Chief Operating Officer of NanoSurface Biomedical. “Together, this partnership will collectively allow us to serve a greater number of researchers who are interested in cutting-edge biomimetic cultureware to further their research.”
